Transformative Pathways
We’ve assembled an array of resources based on member interests. They include:
Lesson Plans. For use in early education through high school classrooms, and also with school staff. The topics are limitless.
Films. Watch for your own reference or host a screening and community dialogue at your school, local or community center.
Books. Read or share, including chapters for book club discussions or use with affinity groups, workshops or training courses.
Racial and Social Justice Organizations WebsitesReview to explore, be inspired by, and connect with broader movements.
Tools and Frameworks. Use as handouts for workshops and training or learn different approaches and concepts that sharpen your lenses while you engage in the work.
Articles and Excerpts. Deepen your perspective and share with others through various learning spaces as you build your transformative justice practices.
Use all of these resources for collaborative work within your local union, school, and community. We hope that the insights you learn from these resources will help to expand your understanding and complement your work so that you can be an effective and transformative agent of change. If there are resources that you’d like the MTA to share, please reach out to us at: events@massteacher.org.
