The conference uses workshops, presentations and entertainment to inspire participants to work on ideas for action and to bring those ideas back to their locals, classrooms and communities.

The conference will kick off with dinner and a keynote address delivered by Rocío Inclán of NEA's Center for Social Justice. Saturday's agenda includes sessions on promoting diversity through the arts, culturally relevant pedagogy, "undoing racism," ELL issues, immigrant youth in crisis and Native Americans.
