Now accepting proposals for the 2024 MTA Summer Conference

MTA's Division of Training & Professional Learning is seeking proposals for the 20240 MTA Summer Conference. This conference is scheduled from July 28 to 31 at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Our conference provides workshops related to union skills and leadership, racial and social justice, instructional practice and other areas of professional interest. This conference attracts MTA members from public schools, colleges, and universities, including teachers, faculty, professional staff, Education Support Professional and retirees.
This year’s conference theme is Rethinking Education for a Transformative Future.
This request for proposals is for topics related to the conference theme. This includes anti-oppression education, professional and career development and union skills and leadership.
Deadline for submitting proposals is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.
