Today is National Teacher Day — a day set aside during Teacher Appreciation Week each year to thank those who have had a huge positive impact on the lives of their students and their communities.
How will you show appreciation? One big way is to plan to attend one of two Fund Our Future rallies on Thursday, May 16, at the State House in Boston or on the steps of City Hall in Springfield.
This is our Red for Ed moment! We have a once-in-a generation chance to pass bills increasing the amount of state funding for our public schools and colleges by more than $1.5 billion a year.
