MTA Today: Full Speed Ahead for Fair Share Amendment
MTA Today: Full Speed Ahead for Fair Share Amendment
Passing the Fair Share Amendment is the focus of intensifying MTA grassroots efforts, which are drawing support from educators across the state. This issue features coverage of a coalition effort to win the campaign for the ballot measure, which will go before voters in November. The Spring edition of MTA Today also includes a story about the 2022 Education Support Professionals Conference, an article that examines the little-known problem of campus debt, and a section on the upcoming MTA Annual Meeting of Delegates, which will include union elections, consideration of the budget, and debate about new business items and proposed amendments to the MTA Resolutions, Bylaws and Standing Rules.
