MTA’s Early Career Educator Conference, designed for PK-12 teachers, paraprofessionals, and higher education members in their first five years of practice, presents early career educators with the perfect opportunity to reflect on “the year that never ends” and get tips on time-critical topics that are relevant to new educators. Given the current situation with the pandemic, the New Member Committee has designed a program to support educators through their current challenges. This one-day conference offers seven 75-minute programs, including workshops on mindfulness, climate change and culturally responsive practices.
