Educators are All In: Read the latest MTA Today
In this edition, you’ll find stories on how MTA activism has continued to build since members played a huge role last year in the defeat of the charter school expansion ballot question. In May, thousands of Massachusetts residents took part in the Rally for Public Education on Boston Common. Today, MTA members are moving ahead with the All In membership campaign to build power and create the schools and colleges our students and communities deserve. Our activism also includes continuing to fight for adequate education funding and working with Raise Up Massachusetts to improve the lives of working families through paid family and medical leave and a $15-per-hour minimum wage. You’ll also find stories about the 2017 Summer Conference and the 2017 NEA Representative Assembly, which was hosted by the MTA.
