MTA members: Tell legislators that new state revenue will help our students
How would additional state revenues benefit your students?
That’s the question we’d like you to answer for state legislators. Tell the members of the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Revenue how the Raise Up Massachusetts ballot initiative will help your students. The amendment, which was the subject of a hearing at the State House on Jan. 19, would generate more than $1.5 billion a year for public education and transportation.
MTA members can email testimony to firstname.lastname@example.org. Written testimony should be submitted no later than Jan. 22.
