DESE hosting PARCC community meetings across the state
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will host several community meetings around the state in March on assessments developed by the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, better known as PARCC. The math and English language arts assessments, which are being field-tested in Massachusetts schools this spring, could eventually replace MCAS tests in those subject areas. The meetings will provide an opportunity for educators and parents to ask questions and get additional information.
