Register today for the MTA Higher Ed Conference
The MTA will present the 2014 Higher Education Conference on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, at the Westin Waltham-Boston Hotel.
The MTA Higher Education Conference will cover pressing topics and issues that higher education faculty, administrators, staff and support professionals face. Workshop topics include assessment initiatives; implications of the Affordable Care Act; an update on the Optional Retirement Program (ORP); and national trends in higher education. The conference will offer conversations with MTA officers and updates from local leaders. Massachusetts Commissioner of Higher Education Richard Freeland will also be on hand to discuss the Department of Higher Education's Vision Project, funding for public higher education and various programs taking place at UMass, the state universities and community colleges.
