Join TEAM MTA and help feed hungry kids
Want to help feed kids and others in need? Join fellow educators on Team MTA at the Walk for Hunger on Sunday, May 5. The Walk for Hunger, now in its 42nd year, is the largest one-day fundraiser to alleviate local hunger in the country.
According to Project Bread, which organizes the walk, 13 percent of those who benefit from the donations generated by the charity event are children under the age of 18 living in “food- insecure homes.” Project Bread also works in 48 Massachusetts Public School Districts.
