If you’re an educator in your first four years of teaching, the Just for New Teachers Conference is designed especially for you. While all teachers, novices and veterans alike, face many of the same daily challenges, the novice has fewer strategies to call upon. Whether it’s handling classroom management, or addressing the wide range of individual student needs in your classroom, or simply finding what to do next about your educator license, this conference has something for you.

Important Notes:

This conference is appropriate for school district use in partially fulfilling the obligation to provide an induction program for all new teachers (603 CMR 7.00).

MTA will provide participants with a record of sessions attended.

The registration fee is $60 per person and includes all sessions, materials, morning refreshments and lunch.

This registration form can be printed and returned by mail.

Districts may register groups by providing group members with a purchase order number and directing them to online registration or by calling 1-800-392-6175 x8300.

Prior registration is required. On-site check-in is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. There are exhibits and “good stuff free” during check-in. Workshops begin promptly at 9 a.m. Afternoon workshops conclude by 3 p.m.
