Looking to Honor One of Our Own Award

The MTA Retired Members Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Looking to Honor One of Our Own Award. Nominees must be active or retired MTA members.

Each year, the MTA Retired Members Committee sponsors the Looking to Honor One of Our Own essay contest. This contest provides the opportunity for an active or retired MTA member to be honored for his or her influence on the behalf of students, beginning educators and association members. 

Deadline for nominations is May 1, 2011. The award will be presented at the MTA Retired Gathering on September 27.
