Higher ed demonstration April 29

Members and friends of the Massachusetts public higher education community will demonstrate on Boston Common 11 a.m., April 29, to protest campus budget cuts.

The rally is being planned and sponsored by Higher Ed Unions United, which is also fighting for funding of the higher education contracts.

More than 200 UMass/Boston faculty, staff and students rallied at the Clark Athletic Center, March 26, and voiced their support of the demonstration and other actions to impact the governor and legislature.

Details of the rally are still in the planning stages.
