"Rally will protest higher ed cuts, Feb. 25"

In response to the cuts made -- and proposed -- to public higher education, the MTA is planning a demonstration on Tuesday, Feb. 25, outside Romney's State of the State speech in Boston.  MTA is encouraging anyone and everyone interested in attending to meet at the MTA building by 4 p.m.  The speech is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. 

We will be expressing our disagreement with any attempts to close schools, reorganize and/or privatize Higher Education in Massachusetts and to send a message that it is time to STOP THE CUTS AND RAISE REVENUES!
