Know a kid who needs warm clothes this winter?

Take advantage of special $250 grants from the Mass Child.

Mass Child Winter Clothes

The Massachusetts Child wants to give your local $250 to buy winter clothes – coats, boots, socks, etc. – to keep students in your school district warm during the cold months.

Here’s what you need to know:

All MTA preK-12 locals are eligible to participate. Sign up by sending your association name, local contact, email, phone and mailing address to Maureen Viturale at mojo11@comcast.net by JAN. 31. These funds are available to the first 50 locals that apply, so please don’t hesitate. Apply early.

Go shopping. After you’ve gotten the okay from the Mass Child, hit the stores for the students in your district.

Return your receipts by March 31, 2014.

Sit tight. A reimbursement check will arrive by mail.

MAKE SURE YOUR LOCAL ALSO Take advantage of the $750+ MASS CHILD GRANTS that ARE available each school year. Locals are eligible for $250 winter clothes grants in addition to the $750 or more in funds available through the Mass Child’s main grant program.
