Fall issue of MTA Today

Fall 2012 MTA members throughout the Commonwealth are doing all they can to support pro-public-education candidates as the Nov. 6 election draws near. Grassroots activity involves members of all types — teachers, education support professionals, higher education faculty and staff and others. Many of them are pictured on the cover and elsewhere in this edition of MTA Today as they engage in activities focused on the presidential race, the U.S. Senate race and contests for congressional and legislative seats.

For campaign coverage and commentary, please see pages 4, 6, 7 and 8 and the MTA’s 2012 Election Guide [member log in required]. Members are also urged to visit www.massteacher.org/vote and http://rethinkbrown.com.
