Do you know a student who needs a winter coat?
Know a child who needs a winter coat? The Massachusetts Child, the MTA’s charity, is giving preK-12 local associations $250 grants to help keep students warm this winter. Grants are available to the first 50 locals that apply by January 12. Locals will then have until March 1 to submit receipts for a variety of winter clothes – coats, boots, socks, etc.
Have questions? Contact Massachusetts Child President Christine Mulroney at firstname.lastname@example.org or 508-846-4257 or MTA staff consultant Sarah Nathan at email@example.com or 617-878-8306. Visit http://massteacher.org/masschild for information about annual grants.
